Bob Macdonald

Award-Winning Songwriter and Performer

Bob grew up along the scenic shores and vibrant boardwalks of New Jersey, where he first discovered his passion for music. He got his big break with RD1, a band that took him on tour, opening for greats like Delbert McClinton and allowing him to sharpen his skills on stages across the country.

In the 1980s, Bob made Florida his home and never looked back.

Over the years, Bob has played at countless venues along the southeastern coast, and you can still catch him performing locally around Boynton Beach. Known for his exceptional songwriting, Bob has earned two prestigious awards from the Great American Song Contest. He took home top honors in the Acoustic/Folk category in 2001 and secured first place in the Country category in 2002 with his hit song “Jukebox Therapy.”

Now residing in Boynton Beach, Florida, Bob has self-produced two CDs, Minutes From Miami and Traffic and Weather Together, with his latest release titled I Wrote These Songs So You Wouldn’t Have To.
